Hi guys ,
Sorry I haven’t posted this week I have been down with a flu for a few days but now I am back !!!
Kiss Daniel’s woju is the song for this week, when I first heard this song I didn’t really like it but a couple of days after I heard it I couldn’t stop humming it so I had to download it and now I can’t stop playing it . I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Have a great weekend
I am a huge fashion lover and as such fashion is going to be a huge part of this blog. So allow me to introduce to a new feature on the blog called style star.
Every month I am going to pick somebody whose style I admire and do a story on them .
This month’s style star is the beautiful Ayodele Ige who also happens to be my cousin and this what she has to say about her style.
“Hey everyone my name is Ayodele Ige, I’m 20 years old and I love to dress up, even if I’m just staying at home. I’d describe my style as simple but chic. I love wearing black and neutral colours and have an obsession with fitted trousers. I can be quite girly from time to time as I wear mini dresses quite often. This blog is great! Keep visiting the page to see all the great things Anu has to share with you all 🙂 xx”
And there you have it our style Star for this month ! I absolutely love her style and if I was skinnier I’d probably steal all of her clothes. If you are interested in being our style star for next month please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Love and light xx
Alright, hi people !
Every week I’m going to be putting up a song that reflects how my week has been or a song I just can’t stop playing.
My song for this week is Adekunle Gold’s creative cover of the One Direction hit “story of my life”.
Produced by Naitalo, “Sade” is an amazing song. ( Yes, it has sweet yoruba parts so expect nothing but greatness.)
I haven’t posted in a while because, procrastination. Yes, that problem is still there. I will do better, I promise.
Hopefully everyone had an amazing week.
Alright, I want to talk about something very dear to my heart: The February 2015 Elections. Everyday we hear all sorts of horrible stories coming out of Nigeria and I wonder how we are going to get out of this mess. As much as we hope and pray things work out, it’s NOT going to happen by some magic. There’s so much we have to do and I think one of these many things is making sure that we all get our PVC’s and go out to vote. For those of us that live in Nigeria, urge your family and friends to get theirs too. Drive those you can, tell people, spread the word!!!
Nigerians out of Nigeria as well, urge friends and family to do same. This is not about a party or candidates, this is about Nigeria and what we have to do to fix what’s ours.
God bless you and God bless Nigeria.
Happy new year guys!!! May this year be one of abundant blessings for all of us.
I hope everyone had a good New Year’s day. Honestly, I never make New Year resolutions (really, I just can’t. Lol) BUT, this year I am going to make one and that is to stop procrastinating. Hopefully I follow through, if not, Lol.
Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? If you do leave a comment and share them with me.
What was everyone up to yesterday?
Myself and my crew (ok, just my mum and brother) went out for lunch with one of my mums closest friends. Food was great, service was meh. (I’ll discuss that in another blog post)
In all, it was an amazing time out; talking so much about our motherland. OF COURSE we didn’t leave out next months elections.
Thank you all for your support with the blog hopefully it gets bigger and better as the days go by.
Cheers to a wonderful 2015
